Sarah Tweet is a soulful singer-songwriter with a strong background in rock, pop, jazz and Americana styles. She is known for her powerful alto voice with massive range and a belting tone that demands you stop and listen. 

 

Sarah grew up in the Pacific Northwest and her love of music was piqued early in life. She began taking piano lessons at age 7. Her talent as a vocalist was discovered and nurtured as a featured soloist at church.  She continued pursuing her interest in music as a soloist and member of a premier vocal jazz ensemble in college. She has studied with several vocal and songwriting coaches including Erin Guinup, Evin Lambert, Jack Gorrecht, Barbie Anika, and Judy Stakee.

 

After college, Sarah invested 5 years studying voice and coaching at Garray Music Studios, an advocate of the Bel Canto vocal method. Sarah entered a televised singing contest called "Gimme the Mic" that aired on King 5 in Seattle and made it to the top 5 as a finalist, which propelled Sarah into more performing and writing.

Sarah performs with Premier Vocal Entertainment’s Motown-inspired vocal trio The Jewel Tones on regular basis.  She also performs, writes and records original music, and owns a vocal coaching business, Tweet Voice Studio, in Gig Harbor, Washington.
